“Israel” plans to utilize Elon Musk’s Starlink for Internet during potential Hezbollah war

“Israel” is considering utilizing Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite network to maintain internet connectivity in the event of an all-out war with Hezbollah that could lead to power outages, according to a report from “Israeli” business newspaper, Calcalist, on Tuesday.

The report indicated that “Israel's” finance and communications ministries are exploring the use of Starlink’s 5,000 low-orbit satellites to ensure stable data and information flow for state authorities during emergencies.

In February, Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi authorized Starlink, the satellite unit of SpaceX, to operate in “Israel” and the Gaza Strip.
